The International Medical Fair of Ecuador, MEDECU Show 2019, took place at the Centro de Convenciones de Guayaquil from October 29-31, 2019, attracting 6,250 registered visitors who enjoyed a wide variety of activities.

Highlights of the event included free conferences, networking opportunities between visitors and exhibitors, awards in various categories for supplier companies, raffles for cell phones and medical supplies, activations, and media reports on exhibitors.

A total of 110 suppliers of medical products participated in the event, with 8 of them coming from abroad, showcasing their catalogs to a target audience of medical professionals.

The event received positive feedback and media coverage, consolidating its reputation as a leading international event in the medical field.

Regarding the conferences, 23 free lectures were held, benefiting 829 attendees who took advantage of this learning opportunity.

An important aspect of the event was the Hospital Management Congress, which took place in the Presidents Hall during the three days of the fair, attracting 213 participants from different parts of Ecuador and Latin America. This congress focused on updating the skills necessary for the management, administration, and direction of hospitals, clinical laboratories, and health centers, aimed at general managers, physicians, health professionals, and administrative personnel from public and private entities related to health.

The commitment to solidarity continued with the donation of three custom-made 3D-printed upper and lower limb prostheses for low-income patients with urgent needs.

Finally, the event culminated with a successful networking event that brought together 320 high-level professionals, including medical directors, CEOs of exhibiting companies, and other leaders in Ecuador's healthcare sector.
